Tiger lilies have always reminded me of my Mom. While I was growing up, she had a beautiful plant growing on the side of our house. The lily would bloom profusely during the summer, and I enjoyed watching it show it's beautiful colors. Being young, however, I always wondered why it was called a "Tiger" Lily. It was a gorgeous orange color and that made perfect sense to me, but the flower had spots.... not stripes! LOL

ReplyDeleteThe ROSE reminds me of my Mom. There were 100's at her funeral. The smell still reminds me of a great gal that was my best friend. :)
